We took advantage of our flexible schedule by spending a day at anchor in the cove south of Pruth Bay. We enjoyed our walk to West Beach the day before so much we decided to do it again and extend it to North Beach.
The red portion on the map to the left is owned by the Hakai Beach Institute. 
It is a private non-profit organization that operates a lodge open to educational groups doing biological research. Up until September 2009, the facility was a high end fishing lodge. They allow visiting boaters to use their dinghy docks to access the trail to the beach.
The weather today is quite lovely. As I am sure you can tell, the sunshine has improved our disposition significantly.
